European Electronique to demonstrate the latest in cost cutting ICT solutions for schools at BETT 2010
STAND NUMBER D80.  BETT Show, 13 – 16 January, Olympia London

European Electronique, a leading technology company spearheading the delivery of ICT to the education sector, will be showcasing a range of the latest innovations in ICT at BETT 2010.  The team will be on stand number D80 demonstrating how its cutting-edge ICT systems and solutions can help drive down costs while enhancing and empowering teachers and pupils alike.

Yolanta Gill, Managing Director of European Electronique explains, “With a general election looming and public sector cuts expected, schools’ ICT budgets will certainly be affected. We regard this as an opportunity to help school IT and procurement professionals reduce overall spend through the adoption of appropriate ICT technologies.

The solutions from European Electronique on show include:

European Electronique has made a substantial investment in the development of VDI technologies and will be showcasing the latest innovations.
  • Wireless - Mobile learning is now a high-demand requirement in the education sector. European Electronique will be showcasing its recent successes in wireless technology implementations.
  • Customised learning platform solutions - Making information such as attendance, grades, dietary habits etc, available will allow parents to understand far more about their child’s progress. European Electronique, in collaboration with a number of vendors, has developed a learning platform solution that will integrate various technologies such as MIS, Cashless Vending, VLE, etc, in one easy-to-use product.
  • Star Lesson which captures video and sound within the classroom through a range of cameras and microphones.
  • Multi-touch LCD screen to replace the white board and projectors.
  • Easy trace management solutions which includes cashless catering, photocopier and print control, access control, e-registration etc
  • Exciting new digital signage solutions and visualisation products including the latest 3G cellular digital signage solutions, which boasts a 70% lower heat output.

European Electronique will also be running a series of seminars on its ‘Managed Services’ support. The team will be demonstrating the benefits of its Becta FITS based Managed Services provision. Benefits include: Access to a vast team of highly experienced engineers and engineering resources, structured management system, access to its help desk, provision of strategic planning, and reviews and continued staff training.
