BOTTLE PR has appointed Kirsty Shaw from BBC Oxford, where she played a key role as content producer on the Community Service Volunteers action desk. Kirsty has joined BOTTLE PR as a PR Consultant.
At BBC Radio Oxford Kirsty helped organise many of Oxford’s high profile events, including ‘Make a Difference Day’ for BBC Oxford and South Today. From organising events, editing BBC Oxford’s ‘where I live’ online content and planning creative charity campaigns, Kirsty brings much experience with her to the BOTTLE PR team. Kirsty holds a BA in Media, Popular Culture and English, for which she researched her interest in ‘how women are perceived in media’.
Within days of joining, Kirsty started to make a positive impact, securing radio, TV and print coverage for the LSC’s inaugural Apprenticeship Week.
Kirsty is working for a number of key BOTTLE PR clients, including Surrey County Council, jobs.ac.uk and the Henley Business Awards, with a wider portfolio to follow in the coming weeks and months.
Originally from Northamptonshire, Kirsty now lives in Eynsham, a few minutes’ walk away from our offices. This means no daily commute…and absolutely no excuses for being late!
