RM Education launches consumer website with PR campaign support from BOTTLE
When our client RM Education, a leading educational technology specialist, announced it was launching a new website home.rm.com, the BOTTLE consultants got their thinking caps on. For RM this was a strategic point of departure; despite being established in schools as a leading brand for nearly 40 years, RM at Home is the organisation’s first move into the consumer market.
Following extensive market research around how children learn outside of the classroom, it was identified that parents’ number one concern is to ‘make learning fun’. With this invaluable information under our belts, we devised a campaign working with celebrity mum of three, Philippa Forrester, as brand ambassador. Philippa was very much in touch with issues around how today’s busy parent can ensure their child’s learning journey continues outside of the classroom – be it homework or during school holidays- and delighted to be supporting a product range that is educational AND fun.
Our approach was to champion the overall thesis that learning starts at home, introducing the resources available and how these can benefit children, parents and other adult carers.
So far the campaign has achieved over 30 pieces of coverage, including pieces in The Telegraph, The Observer, Mumsnet, ParentDish and Woman’s Weekly as well a host of regional radio mentions. Blogger relations have also been very successful with over 20 influential bloggers engaged directly with RM at Home.
We’ll keep you posted as this campaign unfolds!
