Digital Recognition for BOTTLE

BOTTLE has been listed at number 38 in PR Week's Top Digital Consultancies.

The agency is also gearing up for the CorpComms Digi Awards after being shortlisted in four categories, including the influential ‘Best Agency with Integrated Digital Expertise’ award.

The Oxfordshire-based agency has also been shortlisted in the ’Best Digital Campaign of the Year’ category for its work with TV channel HISTORY and location-based social network foursquare. The campaign is the first partnership of its type in the UK, including 600 historic or iconic locations throughout London.

BOTTLE’s UKWaspWatch campaign for Rentokil Pest Control has also been shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Microblogging’ and ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ categories. UKWaspWatch involved the development of a unique Twitter application to enable users of the network to log sightings of wasps nests and stings in order to build up a picture of wasp trends across the country. As a result, wasp enquiries to Rentokil increased by 25% year-on-year during the summer of 2010.

Paul Sutton, head of social communications at BOTTLE says:  “Online activity is becoming increasingly important within PR. To be named within PR Weeks top digital consultancies and to be short-listed for every one of the four categories we entered is a fantastic achievement. To receive this recognition from a judging panel that includes industry peers who I highly respect is extremely satisfying, and proves we are an agency with a credible social media stance. We are looking forward to the event and have our fingers crossed.”

The winners will be announced at the Digi Awards event in London on 5 July 2011.
