DYLON® Takes On BOTTLE

BOTTLE has secured an account with DYLON, the UK’s home-dyeing brand.


The Oxford-based agency won the account in a three-way pitch and has been briefed to create a mix of experiential PR, online PR and media relations. The campaign will go live in the first quarter of 2009, aiming to reach existing home-dyers as well as a new generation who may have heard of the brand but won’t have tried it out.

Kamalesh Subramaniam, Marketing Director for DYLON, said: “DYLON has very clear sales and penetration targets next year and we need creative PR campaigns to support those. BOTTLE came up with ideas, backed by a team that strongly believed in them. I’m sure this will help meet our targets.”

As well as taking care of DYLON’s press office function, BOTTLE will launch a number of creative campaigns, designed to inspire people to be both financially savvy and imaginative when it comes to finding new looks.

Carole Scott , Director at BOTTLE, who is heading up the DYLON team, said: “We know there is a core of very passionate, regular home dyers out there and we want to tap into their enthusiasm. Just as important will be introducing a new generation to DYLON and we’ll do this with a mix of events and online activity.”
