The seminar will discuss how companies, brands and organisations can utilise social media to drive their business. BOTTLE are encouraging marketing and PR professionals who want to get a foothold on the social web but are unsure how to go about it, and those who already have a presence but want to understand how to gain a greater return from their efforts, to attend the event.
Paul Sutton, Head of Social Communications at BOTTLE and internationally renowned expert in social media said: “Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are now part of everyday culture. Whether it’s on social networks, forums or blogs, there are conversations happening online about every brand or business on a daily basis. These conversations directly affect whether an individual purchases or not, and where they purchase from, and they occur whether or not the brand or business is listening. Social communications is a massive opportunity to influence these conversations.”
As well as a presentation from Sutton, the seminar will also include speeches from two global companies renowned for their success with digital media. Emily Leary, Digital Content Manager at BT and Caroline Mytton, head of Rentokil’s global web presence, will reveal some of the secrets that give their companies an edge on the social web, highlighting practical examples of social media marketing that generates a business ROI.
