A forum is an online message board or discussion website where users can hold conversations in the form of posted messages. A forum is hierarchical in structure and can contain any number of subforums, each of which may have several topics. Within a forum's topic, each new discussion started is called a thread, and can be replied to by as many people as wish to. Forums can often be used successfully in online PR for businesses.
