BOTTLE PR: where traditional PR joins new media for online brands

Do your business and clients live on earth or in cyberspace? Probably both. How to keep up your company’s visibility and impact?

BOTTLE PR has the answer: BOTTLE 2.0

Our team use new social media (Web 2.0, blogging, podcasts, online forums) to integrate online with offline PR activity.

To help you create a presence that maximises coverage and influence. Wherever you need it.

What can we do for you?

  • Get you heard above the noise
  • Manage your brand awareness and reputation with opinion formers and influencers
  • Run a launch event which makes your online service visible from the start
  • Develop creative campaigns which draw traffic to your website
  • Use Web 2.0 and social e-media to reach web-based communities and influencers

We’ve done all this and more for online organisations including:

  • Bragster.com
  • Freeserve.co.uk (now Orange)
  • Steelcube.com
  • Stepstone.com

  • hamper.com
  • citysocialising.com
  • CheckMEND.com
  • HelpHound.com
  • Compareandsave.com
  • Everydaysale.co.uk

We’ve worked extensively with both consumer and business-to-business companies whose business model includes a strong online or e-commerce presence. Such as Bravissimo.com (retailer/e-tailer of clothing for curvy women).

BOTTLE PR: uncork new connections

CASE STUDY: COMPAREANDSAVE.COM

Compareandsave.com is a leading online credit card marketplace, where consumers can search, compare and select the best credit cards and personal finance products for their needs. Every year, more than 5 million UK consumers visit compareandsave.com to compare personal finance products.

BOTTLE PR’s hard working media relations strategy aimed to raise awareness of a largely unknown brand in a competitive market, increase its share of voice in the consumer media and boost the level of organic traffic arriving at the site.

This was achieved by generating creative news stories such as ‘Balance Transfer Day’ and   anticipating the media agenda and working quickly to provide comment. By building relationships with all the key personal finance media in a two month period coverage was achieved in national newspapers including; The Observer and The Daily Telegraph, online on ThisisMoney.co.uk and AOL money.com amongst others and across broadcast including ITV News

CASE STUDY: EVERYDAYSALE.CO.UK
Everydaysale.co.uk is one of the UK’s leading voucher code websites. Everydaysale.co.uk provides online shoppers with thousands of valid free voucher codes and sales news from over 1,500 online retailers, ranging from gadgets through to weekend breaks. Whilst operating in a highly competitive environment Everydaysale.co.uk has a constantly growing database of over 30,000 registered users and a conversion rate of 5%.
BOTTLE PR re-launched the online company to the UK media in October 2008 with an in-depth media relations campaign targeting national print media as well as consumer and online publications.

By piggybacking on topical news hooks, BOTTLE PR has given everydaysale.co.uk a share of voice in a variety of shopping features including the Sunday Times and The Observer and resulted in the busiest month the website has experienced since launching in 2006. Editorial exposure was complemented by a host of exclusive competitions and reader offers in consumer magazines such as Closer.

CASE STUDY: HELPHOUND.COM
HelpHound is the first online community to bring businesses and consumers together in a way that brings tangible benefits to both in equal measure. Since launching in 2006 HelpHound has helped consumers to help each other find excellent businesses and services and enabled excellent businesses to reach consumers.

BOTTLE PR re-launched the website to the consumer and B2B media through an intense media relations campaign targeting the national, consumer, online, business and vertical media with bespoke news angles. Coverage to date includes web reviews in the likes of the Daily Mirror and Tech Digest and more indepth feature articles in New Business magazine.

Following the re-launch and to reach the core technology titles, BOTTLE PR organised a day of deskside briefings at Future Publishing House in Bristol. The co-founder of the website met with editors of key titles including TechRadar, PC Format and PC Answers and took them through the inner workings of the website. The resulting coverage is still appearing.
