Background
- BOTTLE PR was appointed by ING Direct during the launch of this savings-bank in May 2003. ING Direct was a new player in the online savings market.
Objectives
- To provide strategy and implementation on the communications required for new product launches starting with the launch of the online saving bank

- Excellent relationships with the national business, personal finance and trade media were cultivated
- ING Direct had a dramatic impact in the UK savings market. This is partly down to the excellent media coverage the company received in the months following its launch

- ING Direct received more coverage than any other financial provider in the post-launch months and Lindsay Sinclair (CEO ING Direct) was the most quoted executive within the financial industry
