Glory for pioneering charity director

It is no secret that BOTTLE PR is proud to work with life-saving charity Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and delights in shining a spotlight on the excellent and often heroic work of the paramedics, doctors and pilots.

Since its inception in October 2003, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance has been a leader in its field thanks to its crew, but also to the vision and entrepreneurial spirit of its director, Andy Williamson. The BOTTLE PR team were all thrilled when Andy was hailed as Charity Principal of the Year at the Charity Times Awards 2007.

Christopher Andrews, editor of the Charity Times said: “The judges for this year’s Charity Times Awards described Andy’s work at Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance as truly inspiring, and said that the results of his leadership were a credit to the voluntary sector.”

Andy comments: “Thanks go to BOTTLE PR for its contribution to my winning the award. The two things that impressed the judges most were the financial results and the profile gained over the last year, and, of course, BOTTLE PR played a major part in that profile. I, however, get all the credit for being smart enough to pick BOTTLE PR in the first place!”

Carole Scott, who leads the WNAA account for BOTTLE PR says: “Awards are always part of our PR plans, as they generate coverage, increase awareness and enhance reputations. Every award that we secure for clients is well deserved, but this news was particularly satisfying, as Andy works so hard to make sure WNAA is the busiest and best air ambulance in the country.”
